What’s up everyone! So I recently got this driver gifted to me, I absolutely love how it looks but have not got the chance to hit it yet. I know it’s older, but has anyone played this, and if so how does it perform?

It’s a bomber in the right person’s hands. How it performs for you is unknown to anyone else.

I hit this driver higher than I hit any other driver for some reason. Prolly the super light shaft that was in it. But I could land that thing like a lob wedge.

A legendary rocket ship … what shaft? It came with some of the best.

It wont explode like all the new taylormades

That driver + a belly putter and you will smash like Keegan in 2011.

I had this exact set up as my first driver, absolutely loved it until it broke. Broke to user error not defect

My favorite driver ever. Mine finally just gave out after 12 or 13 years.

Cleveland classic – crazy deep faces and obviously look cool. I remember them falling into “cult classic” category but never really hit critical mass

Love those. I still use mine, along with the classic custom.

Want one for my 2010’s vintage bag. Complete weapon for a player that finds center of face.

Didn’t get much hype because it’s when drivers were really starting to look cool. Wasn’t the most forgiving from what I remember but it dropped bombs when hit well.

Miyazaki’s are made by Dunlop and are excellent quality shafts. Very underrated IMO

What I can tell you is that a 40 year old crack head at my old club used to game this, and he was low single digits. He used to send it. Mike, if you’re reading this, you were always such a pain in the ass but I enjoyed watching you play golf.

Had it, it went well but I never miss it, so it’s not memorable. Only one I ever miss is a Taylor Made TP9 Tour kick shaft.

It is an all time bomber. My son has a tour issue black version. I pulled it out of his bag earlier today with thoughts of rehafting it for my use. It has a Proj x 6a4f in it now, a true rebar. There was a time when 4/6 of the longest drivers on the tour used it, 2 were not sponsored by Cleveland/srixon

I’ve always heard these came with incredibly light shafts and were absolute bombers? Always wanted to try one.

My ears are bleeding just looking at it.

    Definitely would with that wood.

The logo looks like Harley Davidson but it’s classier than anything with “AI” in the name or carbon on the face

That gets a very firm hell yeah brother from me

  21. That is absolutely incredible. I hope you game it. Looks forgiving.

Gamed one after the Cleveland HiBore…..not as loud lol 😂

It’s a good one. I wish I still had mine. The shafts are very light, so that can be an adjustment. I think there was a variation of it that had a more normal weight shaft; maybe the 310. But I remember people particularly liking the 290 variation.

I gamed this driver simply because of the nostalgia factor. Persimmon driver look, deep face with a muted sound. Like another posted said, bomber in the right person’s hands. This is a wonderful driver.

You’re about to have the best time or worst time with it. No in between.
